each week. Students will take their spelling pretest on the first day of the week. They will write their 10 word list in their agenda in the space provided. Their 10 word list will be used to complete nightly homework and to prepare for their final test on the last day of the week. Testing weeks and short weeks that consist of 3 or fewer days, we will not have spelling.
Example spelling list below. This is only an example, and not this weeks spelling list.

Math this year will consist of an hour of math instruction dealing with our new Core Curriculum, and 30 minutes of instruction dealing with core skills that students may need extra help with throughout the year.
Many programs and models will be used. Math Investigations will be a major component of classroom instruction. Many homework assignments will come from the math workbook in order to be consistent.
